To position the Southern Highlands as a recognized sustainable tourism corridor—moving beyond "safari-only" models to create lasting community benefit.
To position the Southern Highlands as a recognized sustainable tourism corridor, moving beyond "safari-only" models by integrating community economic participation, adventure tourism development, and active conservation into a unified framework that benefits both visitors and residents.
How we will transform the Southern Highlands

Break free from the Northern Circuit monopoly by creating diverse, authentic experiences across the Southern Highlands. From mountain trekking to cultural immersion, from lake expeditions to motorcycle adventures—we're building a new tourism paradigm.

Directly involving communities in the tourism value chain by documenting unexploited opportunities in agricultural processing—avocado oil, banana fiber, potato starch—forestry, crafts, fisheries, and cultural enterprise. Strengthening local community economic participation in tourism.

Designing the first documented motorbike adventure route that connects less explored regions to the global travel market. Creating infrastructure for a new generation of travelers seeking authentic, self-guided exploration beyond the safari vehicle.

Document and support ongoing conservation initiatives. Bridge the gap between tourism revenue and the protection of endemic species, such as the Kipunji primate, through community-led environmental stewardship.

The project prioritizes direct engagement with community members, local associations, conservation actors, and youth groups to understand their challenges and opportunities. We will propose practical pathways for integration into tourism development—creating vetted, community-supported investment opportunities.
We don't just document—we connect. Every community engaged, every route mapped, every opportunity identified is a step toward a Southern Highlands where tourism revenue flows directly to the people who make this region extraordinary.
